Ali Haider Jaanay Do mp3 songs download

Jaanay Do by Ali Haider

Ali Haider Jaanay Do Music Review:
With so many rock bands/singers invading the music industry, pop music seems to have taken a back seat. Since last year people like Annie, Omar Inayat and Adeel came up with their albums of pop genre but horribly failed to leave a lasting impression on the listeners. The latest venture "Jaanay Do" by Ali Haider is a breeze of fresh air with significant chances to revive the dying pop

The album kicks off with the title track “Jaanay Do” , a very melodious slow number which is a more mature attempt to his ghazal singing capabilities as compared to his previous songs like “Tera Naam Liya”. The lyrics, vocals and music all add up to this incredible piece of music which is nerve-relaxing and it tends to keep the listeners wanting for more of this manner of songs from him.

“Agar Pyar” is next in line which I am sure most of you know is an old song of his which has been revamped and added to the CD. The song has been given a new sound with Ali singing it with a classical flair and the music has been toned down. The song is not that bad though I prefer the older version as compared to this one.

The next track is “Hamesha”. It’s a really catchy one with peppy music. Although it’s a very cut-and-dried kind of song but Ali’s vocals give it life. The guitar riffs in the song give a boost to the music which makes it all the more enjoyable.

Next in line is the forever green track “Purani Jeans” which has been revamped with one of Pakistan’s greatest guitarist, Faraz Anwar. Though I am against revamping good songs that are already hits because by doing so, it loses its charm but in this case I must say, the song is so vibrant and hip. And it shows that before this rock invasion, such great and unique pop songs ruled our pop industry.

“Yaron Ne Kaha” is a very run-off-the-mill song. Since it says “UP Remix”, that’s why it has an Indian aptness to its tune but it still does not compromise the fact that the song does not have much attraction power to it. Though no doubt Ali sings it really well but the music kills his singing. If he wants to make songs of this genre, he should come up with material which is more unparalleled and shows the true talent of Ali Haider.

Another song which is of the same genre as “Janay Do” is “Sandul”. The music of this song is really simple. His vocals take the centre stage Listeners can clearly see that Ali’s voice is full of passionate emotions which compliment the song. The lyrics are so mesmerizing that it’s hard not to get lost in the depth of those lyrics.

In “Jhootay Nain”, Ali has tried his hands at techno music. The song is an above average attempt. The music, the tune and all the special radio edit effects are commendable. The track would have been better if Ali had used a more tempestuous and strong voice to sing as compared to the really subtle voice in which he has recorded it in.

The album now proceeds to a song called “Har Sada”. This is a typical Ali Haider signature style song. The music drastically changes from slow to fast and vice versa. There is something really haunting about this track because after listening to it, the music, the voice, clings to your mind. Overall it’s a prime track.

The next track to grace the album is “Qarar” (Funk Mix). This was Ali’s debut song which made him a household name. It has been revamped. Though the music has been modernized to fit the sound of today’s music but sadly it fails to leave a lasting impression. Although the guitar work is pretty good but it kind of slays the charm of the original track. Ali sings it well as he did in the original one but the music does not do justice to it.

Moving on is “Dosti” next in line. When the song starts, the tune resembles that of “Qarar’s” but as it proceeds it alters. There is nothing really spectacular, it is average. It certainly does not have the ingredients to be the next anthem for the public. More effort could have been put in this song. But by having it in the album, its nice to have a song which celebrates brotherhood and unity.

“Hamesha”(Chilled Mix), as the title suggests is a slow paced track. As the original is really lively, this track is laid back and focuses more on Ali’s singing. It shows that even today Ali Haider can sing his heart out and come out with flying colors. His dreamy voice gives the much deserved edge to this tender song.

The album wraps up with “Jub Kabhi”. This song is a true representative of what pop music is all about. The song is superb and gets one in the mood to groove to the music. The music is really worthy of praise as it goes hand in hand with Ali’s singing. The lyrics speak of this person’s feelings when he is away from his sweetheart and the lyrics are really simple yet meaningful. Two thumbs up to this track!!!

All in all, I have to give Ali props for coming out with an album that epitomizes the good standards of pop music which seems to have taken a downhill in the past couple of years. It wouldn’t be wrong to call Ali Haider, the king of pop music in our country. After all these years of singing, he has groomed himself into this ace singer who is unbeatable. Though it would have been better if there were more original numbers in the album apart from remixes and revamped songs but since remixes are all the rage, I guess he made them keeping in mind the demands of the listeners. But he shouldn’t give in to the common trends of the music industry and keep on producing more and more quality work for which he is famous.
