An Air India staffer has lodged a police complaint against Bollywood actress Amisha Patel for allegedly abusing her for not upgrading the star's friend's ticket to the US.
Amisha and her friend had booked tickets on an Air India flight to the US for Friday. Amisha allegedly lost her cool after the check-in staff agreed to upgrade her ticket from business class to first class but refused to do the same for her friend, police said.
An enraged Amisha is alleged to have verbally abused the check-in staffer and threatened to hit her, they said.
Later, the actor and her friend proceeded for the US by the same flight, sources said.
Senior Inspector, Chandrakant Chauhan, of Sahar police station said that a non-cognizable complaint by the Air India staffer was registered Friday.
"We may question Amisha as and when she returns from abroad," Chauhan said.
