Sophie, who is known as the MTV's veejay, says she was hooked to Bollywood since childhood. "I hardly missed any film. Imagine I even watched Chorni and Commando." But MTV veejays are not known to be enamoured of Bollywood, that too of David Dhawan.
"I have been different all through. That's why my colleagues call me Bollywood princess."
Having released a couple of remix music albums, Sophie says she was not wary of the camera.
"I have faced the camera and have acted and danced in my music videos. Shooting for songs in foreign locations was fun. What's difficult was doing comedy scenes. That too with David
Dhawan, who changes dialogue on the sets."
And her accent that has changed remarkably since she signed Shaadi... ? "I never had an accent," she counters. "It's just because I studied in London and worked for MTV, that people believe I don't know Hindi."
For now she is preparing to launch her new album by February. "No remixes. This time it's going to be original."
