Bollywood bombshell Shilpa Shetty knew her fans loved her, she just did not know how much.Ever since Shilpa made her e-mail ID public, her inbox has been looking like a marriage portal.
When the actress, known for her perfect figure, gave out her e-mail address to the public she thought it would help her interact better with her fans.
Her e-mail inbox was bombarded with over 2,500 mails in three days.
And guess what, the maximum number of mails are marriage proposals and love letters.
"It's really amazing to discover that so many people love you," says Shilpa.
"Some of the mails are hilarious, though people just don't give up,and some of the mails have left me speechless."
" I want to make it clear that my e-mail ID is meant to facilitate interaction with my fans; this is not a marriage portal."
After the genuine mails have been screened by an assistant, Shilpa replies to them personally.
Well one thing is very clear Shilpa's fans have made full use of the unique opportunity to send a direct message to her- that they are very much interested in interacting with her....though in a interaction of romantic kind.
It will be very interesting to know how Shilpa replies to these love mails,without breaking the thousands of hearts which must be fluttering in anticipation of recieving a reply from the diva herself. .
