Mallika Sherawat's much-touted New Year’s Eve performance at the J W Marriott, Juhu, ended on a sour note. The Bollywood siren stormed off before the second part of her show as the hotel had allowed TV cameras to broadcast her performance live, without her permission.
Mallika plans to sue the hotel for the breach.
“Mallika is seriously discussing it with her legal advisors who may issue a legal notice to the hotel for breach of contract,” says a source close to Sherawat.
The source further added that the actress had taken a written undertaking from the hotel that banned media persons from filming her performance beyond 10 seconds.
“Mallika is very professional and the event was not designed according to the televised version. There are different lights, sets and positioning of cameras, which got her fuming,” adds her source..... read more
